Services

Consulting, websites, web apps, and automation.

Vahzor helps new and growing businesses build their digital foundation through practical consulting, custom websites, and applications that improve efficiency and support business growth.

Most projects start as one of the things below and turn into two, which is normal and is the reason they are all here. If you are not sure which one you need, that is what the first conversation is for.

Vahzor is based in Stafford, Virginia and works with businesses and organizations across Stafford County, Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, Woodbridge, Dumfries and Quantico — and with clients nationwide, because none of this work needs anyone in the room.

The no-headache startup package.

Everything a new business needs to be online and working, arranged in the order it has to happen. Scoped and quoted per business — what a bakery needs and what a clinic needs are not the same package.

Plan
Understand the business, its audience, its goals, and what it actually needs in place to launch. The output is a short written plan and an order to build in — not a proposal for everything at once.
Establish
Help you choose and connect a domain, configure DNS, and set up the agreed digital foundation. The domain is registered in your name and stays yours; renewal dates and who is responsible for them are written down before anything is bought.
Design and build
Develop the visual direction, the page structure, and the website itself. There is a defined point where you review the design before it is built out, so nobody discovers a disagreement at launch.
Launch and maintain
Configure hosting and deployment, and — only where the project needs it — the backend storage or database behind it, with the proposal naming what it holds. Then the ongoing care options, which are published and optional.

A brand system with an address.

Every project can carry its own brand guidelines in the client portal — the marks, the palette, the type, and the rules that hold them together. Not a PDF that ages in an inbox: a page at an address, that the people doing the work can actually open.

A brand guidelines page in the Vahzor client portal, shown for a fictional bakery: a cream cover carrying the bakery's wheel mark and its name set in a serif face, with the brand's six colours running along the bottom edge, above panels for its marks, palette and type.
A brand guidelines page in the client portal. Millbrook Bakehouse is a fictional client, invented for this page.

A working model of the real page, for a fictional client. The swatch-copy and download controls are inert here; both need the portal behind them.

  • It opens as the brand

The cover takes the ground the primary mark is cleared for and is set in the brand's own typefaces, loaded live. The page looks like the client's brand, not like Vahzor's.

  • Every mark, on the ground it is cleared for

Originals download in one click, from a private store, by links that expire. Nothing is a screenshot of a tile.

  • Every colour with its job

One click copies a hex. Approved pairings carry a contrast ratio computed from the two values at the moment you read it — never a number copied in by hand.

  • Type set at the values beside it

The specimen and its spec table read from the same record, so a sample cannot disagree with its own numbers.

What it costs to keep running.

The build is quoted per project, because projects differ. What happens afterwards does not: hosting, monitoring, maintenance and the small monthly changes are published plans, from $19 a month, and you can read every one of them without talking to anybody.

Not sure which one it is?

Describe the process or the problem. Working out what it actually needs to be is the first part of the job.
